On average, applications take 2–4 weeks, depending on how quickly you provide all required documents. We recommend keeping a close eye on your email, as universities sometimes contact students directly. Forward any emails to your study abroad counselor immediately so they can guide you on next steps.

Universities usually require Year 12 grades, undergraduate transcripts, IELTS or Pearson scores, references, a statement of purpose, passport copy, and CV. For highly specialized summer schools or graduate programs, additional documents may be needed. Our counselors confirm requirements with you in the first session.

For undergraduate or graduate programs, you cannot apply without a passport. However, if you’ve already applied for a new passport, you can proceed with the receipt of your application as proof. We still advise beginning the passport process as early as possible.

Once your application is submitted, the university typically issues an offer that includes course details, start dates, tuition fees, and any conditions to be met. Please ensure you regularly monitor your email for any direct communication from the university, as they may reach out to you with important updates. Forward such emails promptly to your Hallbridge counselor so we can guide you and make sure no deadlines are missed.

You’ll receive an unconditional offer. At this stage, you must pay a deposit, which is usually 50% of the course fee mentioned on your offer. The remaining balance can often be paid in 3–5 installments depending on the university.

After paying the deposit, the university issues your CAS (Confirmation of Acceptance for Studies). This is your official visa letter. The visa process generally takes 2–3 weeks, though timelines may vary depending on the country’s embassy or high commission.

Once you arrive, you’ll complete your biometric checks and passport stamping before final enrollment at the university. Registration is usually handled by the international office, after which you are fully enrolled and ready to begin classes.
